In the last 15 years, there has been an important increase of the frequency, intensity and operative impact on the aviation sector of sand and dust storms. Safety is of paramount importance for business aviation operators, and they need to identify in advance areas where visibility is forecasted to be limited by blowing sand and dust, since this can impact go/no-go flight decisions. Together with the Spanish Weather Agency, we host two WMO regional centers on atmospheric sand and dust forecast that provide predictions of atmospheric dust concentrations useful for your business.

Short-term forecasts of sand and dust storms can be used as flight planning tools by the aviation sector.
