What is user experience & product design?

Product design is the process of developing solutions according to the user's needs through different design methodologies. To create a user-centered solution, user research is essential to clearly defining the problem to be solved. Once this is clear, developing the solution, validating with users and iterating allows us to create a great user-centered product.

How do we do this?

We define as a product any kind of solution that we develop depending on the needs of the users, such as websites, applications, dashboard tools, etc. We use the double diamond design process, which aims to achieve creativity and innovation through applying the design thinking methodology. The process starts with user experience research, where we define the problems, the context and the way the users and stakeholders relate through qualitative research, quantitative research and participatory practices. Then we develop the solution, first proposing the concept and validating it and working later on the information architecture. The next step is to create wireframes, low and high fidelity prototypes, to iterate and test with users until we are ready to implement. Finally, we create a graphic identity and a correct user interface design, which is essential as part of the user experience.
