Our work in this project

Storylines - Storylines will be co-developed to provide actionable climate information in support of climate risk assessments. Sectoral impacts on health and socio-economic development can be investigated based on an improved understanding of the physical processes underlying plausible future climate trajectories. For example, the impacts of a breakdown of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation or climate-sensitive disease propagation can be studied.

Why is this work relevant?

The storylines provide meaningful, relatable, and credible climate information to the local decision-making context. Risk awareness is improved when targeting specific stakeholders, policymakers and even the public. Moreover, the storylines are a tangible tool that introduces local ways of dealing with climate change and its impacts.
